Eligibility
Adult single, homeless women. To get into the
night shelter the woman must have a recent physical exam (the center
can help set that up). If the woman is in recovery from substance
abuse she must be in a program; if the woman has mental health
issues, she is not required to see a psychiatrist, decisions made on
a case by case basis. TB test must be done within two weeks prior to
intake. Can get one M-F 10
a.m. -12p.m.

Provides variety of programs, including health care, shelter and

Everyday after that they must call the office from

a.m. – 2 p.m.
to keep their name on the list. If they fail to call, they lose
their spot on the waiting list. Also, not handicapped-accessible.
Must be able to climb stairs and do light chores.
