Nothing like
spendin a day at the beach harvesting clams, We wait for the minus
tides with buckets, shovels, waders and enthusiasum, we head to the
beach.
Two times a month for 3-5 days the minus tides give us
the oppertunity to gather razor clams the size of your palms. The
tide does't wait so we head out in plenty of time to catch the tide
right at the start , this will assure you to get your clams without
russhing. Eagle spirit wiil teach you how to dig properly for these
delicious treats.
Do you like to play in the mud?
After we gather the razor clams we will return
to our claening station so you can learn all about the, a little
Biology lesson, you will learn to clean them so not one grain of
sand will disturb your eating enjoyment. The best is yet to come, we
will share some of favorite recipies, such as Clam chowder, Cooking
it over the fire, beer batter fried and more, we will do our cooking
on the beach and spend the night camping, eating, enjoying the never
ending sunset and the stories that will be shared.
