Come to our Alaskan Cultural
Studies campus for the experience of a life time. We provide a fun
and safe environment for people of all ages and promote a diverse
and exciting program to give everyone a chance to challenge and
excel.

Programs
Private, semi-private and small group 3 hour
sessions are held daily in the mornings or afternoons on Monday thru
Friday.
Costs:
Private- $100.00, Semi-private (2,
3, or4)-$50.00, $35.00 or $25.00. Small groups
(5-10) $ 20.00 per person.

Day Camp 9a.m-4 p.m., Monday thru
Friday.
Day camp
activities are age appropriate and typically
include:
Nature
exploration, non-competitive games and sports, cookouts and
campfires, arts and crafts, skits, performing arts,( music,
instruments) songs and storytelling, theme incorporated into the
general program and water related activities.
Cost:
small group (5-10)-$ 75.00 includes supplies, art materials lunch
and snacks

Arts &
Crafts: programs for all ages provide developmentally appropriate
activities including:
drawing, watercolor acrylic and oil clay works, mask making,
basketry, wood carving, macrame, beading, fly-tying, found object
assembly, jewelry, leatherwork, regalia making, musical instrument
making, boat building, photography, and video production.

Nature Studies:
in
the great outdoors introduces you to ways to interpret the
landscape; a guided hike into the ecosystem will explore plant life
and it*s various uses. Understanding how other animals share their
territory, corridors and food sources with our knowledgeable local
ecologists.

Gathering:
from
nature provides us with all that we need. Go beach combing for
edible shellfish, and plants. Find useful art objects from stones,
driftwood, natural sponges, feathers, and grasses. Fuel for cooking
and lighting and construction can be gathered from the
landscape.

Wilderness skills:
addresses all that is necessary to
keep you warm, dry, fed, sheltered, healthy, safe and not lost, when
out in the environment. Learn orienteering by day and night, how to
build a fire, how to find and prepare natural edibles, and how to
prepare a shelter for weather extremes. Learn how to identify animal
signs and read their behavior patterns. Rekindle your
senses.

Outdoor-Chef:
provides
cooking experiences for those who appreciate the gourmet difference
that the open fire adds to meals. From making a wood fire and
maintaining proper temperatures to baking, broiling smoking or
drying this course will share secrets of food preparation using
natural products with time tested methods, utensils and
recipes.

Water World:
explores
traditional ways to benefit from the gift that water is. From
natures drink to cleaning, food preparation, generating power and
heat to insulating and preserving foods, the properties of fresh and
salt water are explored. Recreational uses such as swimming, sweat
lodges, fishing, & boating are also covered.

Theme Camps: programs offer the opportunity
to focus your particular interests. Do you like nature? Do you have
a favorite pastime? Do you love the water? Do you love art? Are you
a sport nut? Come and enjoy summer camp with a focus on the type s
of activities that you like, we can set up a program that explores
your interests at a level appropriate for your age. Lodging, group
transportation on campus and meals are provided.

*Cost: for one week session Sunday thru
Saturday-$1,300.00( all
inclusive.)
For two week session Sunday thru Saturday-$2,500.00 from
& to Kenai Airport.
